To offer you the site in another language, on some visits Cloudflare infers your country from your IP address and passes it to your browser. The country is used only at that moment, to decide whether to ask you: we do not store it or add it to any profile. That request receives the same technical handling as any other visit to the site. The country never changes the language: you are only asked, and once you choose a language we stop making this check in that browser. If you arrive from another website and have not chosen a language, the page may open directly in your browser's main language, without using your country.
We make no automated decisions with legal effects on you and build no profiles of our own. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.
Who we share data with
- Cloudflare, the site's hosting and security provider, which also infers the country for the language question.
- Google, if we have enabled Analytics or AdSense and according to your consent choice.
- NotesQR (
notesqr.com), if you accept cookies: it receives the technical browser measurement. Those data are not mixed with a reader identifier. - Email provider, if you write to us.
- Authorities, where legally required.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States. These transfers rely on mechanisms under the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [email protected].
If you feel your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the supervisory authority in your country.
Security
We use encrypted connections and technical measures to protect the site, and we review it daily.
